Day 1| Arrive New Delhi This day arrive at New Delhi international airport. Our company representative will receive you at the airport. Board the car and get driven to your pre booked hotel. Check-in at the hotel, Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel. Day 2: Delhi – Agra (200 km) On your second day of Heritage tours of India, after breakfast proceed to Agra and check in to the hotel. Visit the magnificient Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Night stay in Agra. Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (230 km) After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Jaipur. On the way, visit the town of Fatehpur Sikri which was once the capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar and abode of the famous Muslim shrine of Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. Another main feature of Fatehpur Sikri is the Buland Darwaza, the gate of Magnificence. Arrival in Jaipur by evening and check in to the hotel. Day 4: Jaipur Full day sightseeing of Jaipur which includes places of interest like the Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort and Amber Fort. The steep approach to the Amber Palace gives you an opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride up the hill like a King and a Queen with a scintillating view of the lake below surrounded by hills. Late evening we visit the art and craft ethnic Village setup at Choki Dhani along with a typical Rajasthani Vegetarian dinner. Late evening free for shopping. On at the hotel in Jaipur. Day 5: Jaipur – Ajmer - Pushkar (145 km) Today again we go for a half day sightseeing of City palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Evening is free for shopping of the handicrafts and Souvenirs. On at the hotel in Jaipur. Day 6: Jaipur - Ranthambore (195 km) After breakfast check out of the hotel and depart for Ranthambhore.On arrival check in to the hotel and get ready for an evening Wildlife Safari in search of tigers. The park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is the main attraction of Ranthambore. Day 7: Ranthambore On your seven day of Heritage tours of India, after an early morning sumptuous breakfast embarks on a full day jungle safari in quest to sight the big cat which is elusive to say the last. Apart from tigers, Ranthambore is home to a wide variety of wildlife species like deer, nilgai, wild boar, sambax, chital to name just a few of the resident species of Ranthambore. The park has three lakes or reservoirs which are frequented by the resident animals for quenching their thirst. The safari goes deep inside the arid forest cover of Ranthambore for viewing the magnificent medicval fort there is located inside the Ranthambore National Park. After an eventful day of wildlife safari, return back to the Forest Lodge. Overnight at Ranthambore. Day 08: Ranthambhore - Kota (140 km) After an early morning Safari and breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Kota. There are a number of interesting places to be visit in Kota. The city fort and palace, one of its main attractions, is located on the eastern banks of the Chambal River, near the Kota Barrage. This type of fort-palace complex is one of the largest to be found in the state of Rajasthan. The museum within the city palace is worth visiting, as it houses a good collection of artifacts. Overnight at Kota. Day 09: Kota - Bundi - Chittaurgarh (180 km) After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Chittaurgarh via Bundi. Bundi is a small town with rustic setting that stands on the foothills of the Aravali Mountains. Bundi is very famous for its baolis meaning waterworks or step wells, havelis, temples and chhatris with carved pillars. The mural adorned palaces, the forts and the monuments tell tales about the glorious past of the city. A picturesque lake where the entire city and the palaces get reflected in the lake adds a stunning quality to the place. Arrival in Chittaurgarh by evening and overnight at the Castle. Day 10: Bijaipur - Udaipur (180 km) Morning sightseeing. In the afternoon checkout of the hotel and Start for Udaipur On arrival in Udaipur, check in to the hotel and relax in the evening. Overnight at Udaipur. Day 11: Udaipur Morning city sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Rest of the day at leisure and night stay at the hotel in Udaipur. Day 12: Udaipur - Kumbalgarh (100 km) After breakfast drive to Kumbalgarh. Set amidst a cluster of thirteen mountain peaks of the Aravali range, the formidable medieval citadel of Kumbhalgarh Fort stands a wary sentinel to the past glory of its kings and princes. Located 64 km north of Udaipur in the wilderness, Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. The fort is self-contained and has within its amalgam almost everything to withstand a long siege. The huge complex of the Fort has numerous palaces, temples and gardens making it more magnificent. Overnight at Kumbhalgarh. Day 13: Kumbalgarh - Jodhpur (150 km) Proceed in the morning after a leisurely breakfast and reach Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur check in to the hotel and in the afternoon proceed for the city tour of Jodhpur which will include The Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. The Mehrangarh fort of Rajasthan is situated on a lofty height, 400 feet above the city, and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its territorial boundaries, there are several palaces, which are known for their intricate carvings and sprawling courtyards. Overnight at Jodhpur. Day 14: Jodhpur Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Night stay in Jodhpur. Day 15: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (285 kms) Morning drive to Jaisalmer through the Kheechan village (famous for its migratory cranes) & transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Jaisalmer. Day 16: Jaisalmer After breakfast go for a city tour which will include the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quila built by Rawal Jaisal and Patwon Ki Haveli. After lunch we go for an interesting Camel Safari to the sand Dunes and experience a beautiful sunset at the dunes. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer. Day 17: Jaisalmer – Bikaner (330 kms) After breakfast proceed by road to Bikaner enjoying the small villages and rural sights of Rajasthan with its sand dunes. After breakfast visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Mughal Emperor Akbar's army and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok. Also visit the prestigious camel breeding farm in the evening. Night stay in Bikaner. Day 18 : Bikaner – Mandawa (190 km) After breakfast proceed to Mandawa, a small and bustling town in the Shekhawati region lying north of Jaipur. Its importance lies in the splendidly frescoed havelis or mansions- mostly constructed by the prosperous merchants, between the 18th and 20th centuries. Day 19 : Mandawa – Delhi (250 km) After brunch drive back to Delhi on the way visiting Mahensar and Dundlod villages. On arrival in Delhi by the evening and check in to the hotel. Overnight at Delhi. Day 20: Delhi – Departure….!! After a leisurely breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President's House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple, Lotus Temple and Akshardham. In the evening get ready to explore the shopper’s paradise and handicrafts of India. In evening Transfer to the Airport to board your flight back Home or Onward destination.
